Job Description

Specialty: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years in specialty (labor and post-partum experience is a hard requirement)
First-timers: Not accepted
Shift Options: 4x12 shifts available upon request
Patient Ratios: 1:3
Orientation: 36 hours
Float Requirement: Yes, may need to float between like units
Locals: Not accepted
Pending License: Not accepted
Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period

Required Certifications

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
AWHONN Intermediate
BLS (Basic Life Support)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
Post Partum experience
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
AWHONN Intermediate certification
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NRP certification
EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
