Registered Nurse - Pediatric ER

Job Details

• Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
• Call Requirements: None
• Floating: May be required to float within competency level
• Additional Shifts: Required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Schedule: Varies based on department needs; may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• Low Census Policy: Employer may call off shifts with 48 hours' notice without penalty during the contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Nevada
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Pediatric Emergency Room experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience working with pediatric patients in an acute care setting
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC

Job Description

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in the Emergency Room setting
• Deliver optimal patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed
• Address cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to pediatric patients
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety in patient care
• Engage in continuous learning and professional growth
