Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Lone Tree, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Number of Beds in Hospital: 272
- Cath Suites: 2 (both with Phillips equipment)
- Staff: 5 Techs, 6 RNs
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 3-5 Techs, 2-4 RNs
- Night Shift: On call
- EMR Systems: Meditech and Mac Lab experience preferred
- Call: 7-8 days per month, including one weekend
- Patient Ratios: Not specified
Job Description
- Perform basic Cath Lab skills including scrubbing and monitoring
- Assist with conscious moderate sedation
- Work collaboratively in a fun, team-oriented environment
- Manage stressful situations with strong communication skills
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, including experience within the last year
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- De-escalation skills in a healthcare setting
Preferred Qualifications
- RCIS certification
- ARRT certification
- Electrophysiology (EP) experience is a plus but not required
