    Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

    Location: Aurora, Colorado
    Employment Type: Travel
    Contract Length: 13 weeks


    Unit Information

    • Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
    • Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
    • Staff: 16 total
    • Shift: Day shift 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM; rotating on-call weekends
    • Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
    • Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
    • EMR System: Meditech

    Job Description

    • Perform procedures such as Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), EP ablations, Pacers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEEs, and Tilt Table Tests
    • Must take on-call responsibilities with the team
    • Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
    • Work within a high-functioning team with engaged physicians and a strong structural heart program
    • Positive, hardworking, and engaged in high-quality patient care

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
    • Certification: ACLS (with at least 1 year of ACLS experience), BLS
    • Proficient in scrub and monitoring skills with demonstrated experience
    • Understanding of risks associated with hazardous drugs according to USP 800
    • Ability to handle on-call duties

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with EP, Structural Heart, and Right Heart monitoring skills
    • Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
