Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
- Staff: 16 total
- Shift: Day shift 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM; rotating on-call weekends
- Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
- Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
- EMR System: Meditech
Job Description
- Perform procedures such as Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), EP ablations, Pacers, ICDs, Cardioversions, TEEs, and Tilt Table Tests
- Must take on-call responsibilities with the team
- Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
- Work within a high-functioning team with engaged physicians and a strong structural heart program
- Positive, hardworking, and engaged in high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist in an acute care setting
- Current Cath Lab Technologist certification
- Certification in ACLS and BLS
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EP, Structural Heart, and Right Heart monitoring skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
