Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Thornton, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
Beds: 3 Holding Bays and 2 Cath suites
Staff: 9
Shift: Day shift, approximately 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
Equipment: GE Innova Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab
EMR System: Meditech

Job Description

Perform procedures including Left Heart Catheterization (LHC), Right Heart Catheterization (RHC), Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI), peripheral diagnostic and intervention procedures
Additional procedures: Pacers, ICDs, Cardioversions, Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE), Tilt Table Tests, Dobutamine stress tests
Must take on-call responsibilities, typically 8-12 days per 4-week schedule, including some weekends
Must live within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
Work within a high-functioning team with engaged physicians

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in holding and patient monitoring

Additional Information
