Job Description
- Start Date: ASAP

- Must note Return to Origin (RTO) restrictions at time of submission
Required Qualifications
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year
- Certifications Required:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- License: Must hold a valid California state license for Radiologic Technologists (RT) including CPDH Certificate
- Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Compliance and Documentation Requirements
Background Checks
- Must have a background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Background checks must include: SSN Trace, Death Master Index, Counties, Nationwide, National Sex Offender, FACIS Level 3, Education Verification, MVR (if Home Health), and others as applicable
- Background checks must be updated annually
- Returning travelers with less than 30-day gap may not require new background check if previous is valid
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation certification
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – Current certification by AAP, AHA, or Canadian Paediatric Society
- Chemotherapy certification (if applicable)
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (if applicable)
- IV Certification (if applicable)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB) (if applicable)
- NIH Stroke Certification (every 2 years)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification (if applicable)
Health Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit Mask test (N95 or equivalent) required for travel workers, updated annually (exceptions may apply)
- Immunizations and testing:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years or declination accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal Flu vaccine or declination during flu season
- COVID vaccine or declination
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
Competency Exams
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Color Blind Testing (if required by unit)
- Specialty-specific competency exams (e.g., Medication Aide exam for TMAs in LTC settings)
References and Employment History
- Minimum 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years (7 years for APN/Subcontractors) with month/year format
- Skills checklists as applicable, updated annually
Training and Modules
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules prior to start, including:
- Annual regulatory requirements
- Specialty-specific modules (if applicable)
- Regional and facility-specific modules
- Epic training modules required for some regions and specialties (especially Per Diem in SoCal and other specified areas)
Additional Notes
- Float Policy Acknowledgement required; traveler may be required to float to other nearby facilities
- Photo for badge required (passport style with neutral background)
- Various state-specific background and registry checks may apply depending on placement location
