Registered Nurse - Surgery

Location: West Bend, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel Nursing (Clinical - Nursing)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This role primarily involves providing care to an adult patient population. The position follows standards adapted from the ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).

Required Qualifications

Education:
- Associate’s degree in nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)
Licensure:
- Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
Certifications:
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent
Experience:
- Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of adult surgical patients specific to the area of employment

Additional Information

No prior travel experience is explicitly required for this position.
Focus is on inpatient adult surgical care.
