Work Environment
- Facility specialties include Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, ENT, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Pain Management

Required Licenses & Certifications
- Valid RN license in California
- Outpatient Surgery experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- PALS issued by American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- State License - Copy of Professional License
- State License 1 Verification
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Required Health Documents & Immunizations
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO
- Fit mask test (N95 or equivalent), updated annually
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccine within 10 years or declination
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months, updated annually
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination (required during flu season)
- COVID-19 vaccine or declination
Background & Compliance Requirements
- Background check within 45 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required (nursing degree verification)
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting within last 3 years
- Drug screening: 10-panel drug screen within 90 days of start (no instant tests)
- Respiratory safety clearance for respirator use (annual)
- State-specific background checks and registry searches as applicable
Training & Competency Requirements
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
- Specialty-specific competency exams and skills checklists as applicable
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS platform (WorkRamp)
- Epic system training modules (if applicable)
Additional Notes
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- Travel time off restrictions: no more than 7 days
- Float policy acknowledgment may be required (ability to float to nearby facilities)
- Modules and certifications must be kept current and completed prior to or shortly after start date
- Physical and health document expiration dates must be maintained as per policy
