Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Mid shifts (11:00 AM – 11:30 PM), Monday to Wednesday, plus 4 days of call per month

Job Description

• Perform professional, timely, and accurate diagnostic CT examinations of specific anatomy as prescribed by the referring physician.
• Provide CT care to patients to obtain diagnostic quality radiographs for radiologist interpretation.
• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy is required.
• Work under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician

• No floating required.
• 48-hour guaranteed hours are NOT approved.
• Scrub color: Any.
• EMR system used: Medhost.

• This is a travel assignment with a fixed 13-week duration.
• Shift includes mid-day to late evening hours with some call responsibilities.
