Description
Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Telemetry I
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Day shift with potential to work up to 3 Saturdays per 6-week schedule cycle
- Closed on Sundays
- Holiday work may be required based on surgical volumes
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry nursing experience, with Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience
- Specialty: RN Telemetry I
- Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated; assume minimum RN experience appropriate for Telemetry I level
