Description

Registered Nurse - OB/GYN ER Triage

Location: Jackson, Mississippi

Job Description

Work in a 10-bed OB/GYN ER triage unit that handles female health emergency patients, including OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, and some med-surg/female health cases.
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 3 patients.
12-hour shifts with rotation on weekends and holidays alongside permanent staff.
No on-call responsibilities.
Must be EPIC proficient; no EPIC training provided during orientation.
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a reduced rate.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery and OB/GYN.
ER experience is a plus but not required.
Certifications required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring)

Contract Length

Approximately 15 weeks.

Additional Information

12-hour day shifts.
Rotation includes weekends and holidays.
No call duties.
