Job Details
- Facility is a Level II Trauma Center with 571 staffed beds across campuses.
- Charting system used: EPIC.
- Scrub color: Any except reddish orange.
- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2-week period.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Utilization Review experience
Required Licenses & Certifications
- Washington RN License (active, no pending license accepted).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation).
- Additional certifications may be required depending on unit and specialty (verify with clinical leadership):
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) for ER
- CHEMO certification for Oncology placements (ONS/ONCC approved)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) for Labor & Delivery roles
- IV Certification (as applicable)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) as required
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- Drug screen: 10-panel within 90 days of start (no instant tests).
- Immunizations and health screenings:
- TDAP within 10 years (declination accepted).
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required).
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer.
- Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination.
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer.
- Seasonal flu vaccine or declination during flu season.
- COVID vaccine or declination.
- Respirator clearance (RespSafety) required annually for travel candidates.
- Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years.
- Education verification required for all candidates.
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years.
- Minimum of 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting.
- Skills checklist updated annually as applicable.
- Photo for badge (passport style with neutral background).
Additional Requirements
- Must complete required WorkRamp modules annually, including:
- Regulatory requirements for all caregivers.
- Specialty-specific modules for ER, L&D, leadership roles, hospice/home health, and assisted living.
- Regional and facility-specific modules as assigned.
- WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses must complete demographic attestation prior to start.
- No floating between units required for this position.
- No weekends required.
