Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform CT imaging with experience on one or more of the following equipment types: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba.
• Experience with imaging areas including:

  • Abdomen/pelvis
  • Chest
  • Head/neck
  • Spine/musculoskeletal
  • Preparation and administration of contrast media
  • Starting IVs
  • Aspirations/biopsies (preferred)
  • Drainage (preferred)
  • Brain perfusion (preferred)
  • CT angiography (CTAs) (preferred)
• Use of PACS and computerized documentation.
• Follow isolation precautions.
• Work with patients of all ages, from neonates to older adults.
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
• CT Technologist with 1 year of experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Experience with one or more CT equipment types: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis CT imaging
• Experience with spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging
• Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
• Experience with PACS

Additional Information

• Must be able to work with computerized documentation systems.
• Must adhere to facility-specific policies on vaccinations and exemptions.
• Badge photo required prior to start.
• Pass/fail testing may be required depending on unit.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
