Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Perform CT imaging with experience on one or more of the following equipment types: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba.
- Experience with imaging areas including:
- Abdomen/pelvis
- Chest
- Head/neck
- Spine/musculoskeletal
- Preparation and administration of contrast media
- Starting IVs
- Aspirations/biopsies (preferred)
- Drainage (preferred)
- Brain perfusion (preferred)
- CT angiography (CTAs) (preferred)
- Use of PACS and computerized documentation.
- Follow isolation precautions.
- Work with patients of all ages, from neonates to older adults.
- Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Kentucky
- CT Technologist with 1 year of experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with one or more CT equipment types: GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba
- Experience with abdomen/pelvis CT imaging
- Experience with spine/musculoskeletal CT imaging
- Experience with preparation and administration of contrast media
- Experience with PACS
Additional Information
- Must be able to work with computerized documentation systems.
- Must adhere to facility-specific policies on vaccinations and exemptions.
- Badge photo required prior to start.
- Pass/fail testing may be required depending on unit.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic clinical environment with a variety of CT imaging procedures and patient populations.
