Description
CT Tech
Location: Plantation, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Unit Information
- 2 CT Scanners, 2 tables
- Staffing: 2 CT Techs per shift (Day and Night), 12-hour shifts
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Equipment: GE, 1.5, Discovery 450
- EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- CT Scan
- MRI
- Body scanning
- X-Rays
- Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for assessment
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- BLS certification
- ARRT certification
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
- ACLS
- RT (T), ASRT
- FASRT
Work Environment & Expectations
- Critical thinker, flexible, able to work independently
- No on-call required
- Willingness to work weekends and night shifts
- Dress code: Royal blue or white scrubs
