Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide high-quality care in a 13-bed Emergency Department. This role involves working night shifts with rotating weekends and occasional float to the ICU. The patient population includes all ages, with common cases such as sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma.

Work Schedule

• Shift: Nights (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Rotating, every other weekend
• Call Requirements: Not specified

• Department: Emergency Services
• Patient Ratio: 1:4
• Equipment: Emergency Department specific

• Patient Population: All ages (pediatric to geriatric)

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Experience & Skills

• Experience in ER/Trauma and Critical Care
• Familiarity with common emergency diagnoses and treatments such as sepsis, CHF, chest pain, stroke, DKA, and trauma

Additional Information

• Occasional floating to ICU may be required
• Dress code: Scrubs in blue or black; casual wear is not acceptable
