Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule: 4x9s, Nights, 9:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday - Thursday
- Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
- First Time Travelers: Accepted
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT CT certification
- Experience working with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients
- Experience in Outpatient and Inpatient settings
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- Social Security Card (for badge issuance)
- Background Check (within 60 days, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years)
- Foreign Equivalency Education Evaluation (if education obtained outside the U.S.)
- Transcript/Diploma (copy of highest degree required)
- Education Verification (primary source verification required)
- High School Diploma or GED Verification
- Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen (within 40 days of start)
- Immunizations and Health Documents including:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (Qgold/TSPOT within 6 months)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella (MMR) vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B titer or declination
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination or approved exemption (required by 10/20)
- Fit Mask Test (annual, specific approved N95 respirators required)
Testing & Competency
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication) required with 2 attempts allowed; minimum 82% to pass
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (minimum 80% to pass)
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam required for all RNs except Behavioral Health or Case Managers
- EPIC Test required for Allied candidates and RNs (2 attempts allowed, 80% minimum to pass)
References & Work History
- 2 supervisory references required for clinical positions (one within 12 months, one within 24 months)
- Employment Application/Resume with 7-year work history required
- Verification of all employment within last 5 years required through third-party vendor
Additional Notes
- Candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- Candidate must complete all compliance requirements by the deadline prior to start date
- Facility requires strict photo guidelines for badge photos (no selfies, solid color background, business casual or uniform attire)
- Fingerprinting required only for Home Health and Long-Term Care positions (not applicable here)
This position offers a great opportunity for CT Technologists with at least 1 year of experience, including those new to travel assignments. The role requires strong pediatric through geriatric experience and proficiency with PACS and contrast imaging. Night shift availability and compliance with strict facility policies are essential.
