CT Technologist

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (4/10-hour shifts)
Start Date: ASAP


Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic CT scanning services to both inpatient and outpatient populations under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT procedures including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures. Additional responsibilities include knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid CT Technologist license in Arizona
  • Minimum 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ARRT certification
  • Ability to start IVs

Equipment Used

  • Philips 128 Ingenuity (ER scanner, primary for nights)
  • Philips Brilliance 64
  • Philips Big Bore 16
