RN - OR Circulator (General & Neuro Surgery) - Travel Position
Location:
Cape Girardeau, Missouri
Position Details
- Employment Type: Travel
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts per week (10-hour shifts)
- Weekly Hours: 36 guaranteed hours
- Call Requirements: Rotating weekend call approximately every 6-7 days; scheduled late shifts that require staying late if needed
- Number of Openings: 1

- Specialty: Circulating RN – Primary focus on Neuro Surgery and General Surgery
- Surgical Areas Covered: Neuro, General Surgery (including Urology and Gynecology), Orthopedic Surgery
- Patient Type: Surgical patients
- Equipment Used: DaVinci Xi robot, Hana Table, Arthrex tower, Beach Chair
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
- Neurosurgery experience
- Urology experience
- OB/GYN experience
- Orthopedics experience
Role Description
- The circulating nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating perioperative patient care
- Acts as a patient advocate throughout the surgical process
- Must be flexible with types of surgical cases, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and be a team player
Dress Code
- Scrubs provided by hospital in the OR
- Scrub color: Black only
- No other scrub colors or attire allowed

- This is not an auto-offer position
- The facility is a 244-bed hospital serving a large regional population
- Weekend hours are not specifically assigned outside of call requirements
- No float requirements for this role
