Description

Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide circulating support in the Operating Room (OR).
  • Deliver intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care on the Labor and Delivery Unit.
  • Work schedule: 36 hours per week, day/night rotating shifts, with flexible weekends and holidays.
  • Travel RN experience: Minimum 1+ year of travel nursing experience specifically in Labor and Delivery required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience, with experience within the last year required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Requirements

  • Submission of a detailed resume including the past 7 years of work experience with city and state.
  • Two professional references within the last 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher.
  • Completion of a skills checklist within 1 year of submission.
  • Fit test and health screenings must be completed prior to start; no exemptions allowed.
  • Background checks and verifications must be current and compliant with state and facility regulations.

Schedule

  • 36 hours per week
  • Rotating day and night shifts
  • Flexible weekends and holidays

This position is ideal for experienced Labor and Delivery RNs with prior travel nursing experience seeking a long-term assignment in a dynamic hospital setting.
