Job Details

• Position: Mammography Tech
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
• Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Rotating weekend shifts: Tuesday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with Monday off
  • Every other weekend and 1 Saturday per month

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Mammography Technologist experience within the last year

Required Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist)
• California State Mammography Licensure (Certified Radiologic Technologist certification by the California Department of Health Services)

Education

• Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• Education verification and transcript/diploma verification as applicable
• Various federal and state background screenings including EPLS, HHS/OIG, FACIS Level 3, and others as required
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to California law)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• TB screening (negative test or chest x-ray) within 90 days of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and titers required:

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
  • Hepatitis B (series or declination)
  • Varicella (proof of immunity or vaccination)
  • Seasonal Flu vaccination during flu season (Nov 1 - Apr 30) or signed declination
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually (with accommodations for religious exemptions or facial hair)
• Respiratory safety clearance required, renewed annually

Additional Requirements

• Must complete facility-specific documents and attestations prior to start (e.g., code of conduct, confidentiality agreements, orientation materials)
• Employment application must include full 7 years of work history with no gaps
• References: 2 professional references required (Aya requirement, not client)
• Competency exams as applicable (medication test, dysrhythmia/EKG competency, etc.)
