Job Description

• Position: CT Tech III / X-ray
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (coverage Wed-Sun)
• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience
• CT Technologist experience within the last year

Certifications & Licenses

• Current California state license for Radiologic Technologist (CT Tech)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC only
• Other certifications may be required based on position specifics (verify with recruiter)

Background & Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check required within 6 months of start
• EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, FACIS Level 3 screening, Sex Offender Search, OFAC Sanctions List Search, and other federal/state background checks as applicable
• Education verification (highest level achieved) required
• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 6 months of start (excluding marijuana/cannabinoids due to CA law)
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • TB test or chest x-ray (annual renewal)
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years)
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or declination
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Seasonal flu vaccination during flu season (Nov-April) or signed declination
• Respiratory safety clearance required prior to start and annually

Competency Requirements

• Medication/Pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Telemetry competency exam may be required for ICU nurses (not applicable here)
• Unit-specific skills checklist and competency exams as applicable

Documentation & Other Requirements

• Full 7 years of work history documented with no gaps over 30 days
• Professional references (2 for clinical/allied positions) within 3 years
• Various facility-specific documents and attestations must be reviewed and signed prior to start, including:

  • Job description acknowledgment
  • Standards of business conduct
  • Code of conduct
  • Conditional offer of employment attestation
  • Religious accommodation forms if applicable

Schedule

• Coverage primarily Friday through Sunday
• Position covers Wednesday through Sunday shifts
