Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel

Job Description

Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Must be willing to float to other units as needed.

Shift Details

Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Facility size: 38 beds

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Experience working in a Trauma Level III facility.
Willingness to float to other units as needed.
