Registered Nurse (MS/Tele) - Travel Assignment

Location

• Laveen, Arizona
• May float to a sister facility in Mesa, AZ (within 50 miles radius)

Job Details

• Specialty: Medical-Surgical / Telemetry (MS/Tele)
• Unit size: 16 beds
• Shift: Nights (7pm–7am)
• Hours per day: 12
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Required to work weekends in rotation with core staff
• Holidays: Scheduled (A or B rotation)
• Orientation: 2 days floor-specific orientation plus Day 1 Sim Lab (pass/fail)
• Floating: Yes, may float to sister facility if needed
• Common patient types: MS/Tele patients, post-surgical (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, etc.)
• Telemetry monitoring required
• Respiratory Therapy available 24/7
• Pharmacy support available 24/7 (remote after 6pm)
• Scrub color: Navy Blue

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona RN license or compact license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in MS/Tele nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with a minimum score of 80% within two attempts prior to contract start
• Must pass a Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (pass/fail)
• COVID-19 vaccine required or approved declination form with documentation
• Valid driver’s license required at time of submission
• Candidates may not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN within the past year at any facility associated with the specified health system within a 50-mile radius

• No ventilator or IV team responsibilities
• No charge nurse or call responsibilities
• Prescreen and manager review required before contract signing
• Failure to pass dysrhythmia exam twice results in a 6-month disqualification from assignments in Arizona and Sacramento areas
