Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient Orthopedic
Location: Kenosha, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist position
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- No weekends or holidays required
- All treatments and evaluations are 60 minutes each
- Clinic team includes 4 Physical Therapists and 1 Physical Therapist Assistant
- Opportunity to treat Pelvic Floor or Lymphedema patients if certified in those areas
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience
- Lymphedema experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- 7-year background check required within 1 year of start, updated annually
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (QGold required; TSpot/PPD not accepted)
- Immunization requirements including Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (titers or vaccinations)
- Negative 10-panel drug screen with expanded opiates within 14 days before start (instant tests not accepted)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (October to March)
- Photo for badge (passport-style, shoulders up, no filters)
- 2 professional references verified within 2 years of start
Certifications (as applicable)
- ACLS (not required for CNAs)
- PALS
- NRP
- NIH Stroke Certification (for applicable roles)
Notes
- All treatments are scheduled for 60 minutes
- No weekend or holiday shifts
- Prior travel experience is not required for this position
