Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (schedule to be discussed during interview)

Job Description
- Provide respiratory therapy services specializing in pediatrics.
- Work primarily night shifts.
- Weekend work as needed; weekend block scheduling may be considered.
- Local candidates within 100 miles are not accepted.
- Prior travel experience is required; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Tennessee.
- Minimum 1 year of recent respiratory therapist experience.
- One completed travel assignment.
- Experience working with pediatric patients.
- Pediatric respiratory therapist experience.
Certifications Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA or ARC only.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or ARC only.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA or ARC only.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – AAP only; required for NICU and newborn care.
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 60 days of start, including statewide, county, federal, and education verification.
- Drug test: Negative 10-panel within 30 days of start.
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands within 1 year of start.
- Fit test for 3M N-95 masks within 1 year of start.
- Immunizations and proof of immunity or vaccination for:
- Measles (Rubeola)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (required for this pediatric role)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30).
- Two recent professional references required.
- Skills checklist and internal evaluations as applicable.
Additional Notes
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- All Return to Office (RTO) requests must be submitted with the initial application.
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RRTs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed.
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months).
- Confidentiality acknowledgment and other facility-specific documents must be signed prior to start.
This position is ideal for experienced pediatric respiratory therapists with prior travel contract experience seeking a night shift travel assignment in Tennessee.
