Job Opportunity: CT Tech

Location: Linville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, holiday rotation, occasional weekend help may be required
• Perform both X-Rays and CT scans
• Must be able to work independently

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• At least 1 year of prior travel experience
• Radiology Technologist experience

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Proof of identity and eligibility to work (I9, government-issued photo ID)
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and other federal/state checks
• Drug screening (10-panel including marijuana) within 90 days of start, updated annually
• Immunizations and health screenings including:

  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) immunity or vaccination within 5 years
  • Hepatitis B immunity or vaccination within 5 years
  • Varicella immunity or vaccination within 5 years
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• Physical exam attesting ability to meet job demands, updated annually
• Required facility-specific orientation and competency exams

Additional Notes

• Must carry photo identification during working hours
• Badge photo required before start (passport style, shoulders up, plain background)
• Self-study orientation and post-test mandatory, must be re-completed after any contract break
• References: Proof of 2 clinical references required
• Performance evaluations required if previously worked with the staffing agency

This position is ideal for a CT Technologist with solid radiology experience and prior travel contract experience, who is comfortable working independently in a clinical setting.
