Description
Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist - Outpatient
Location: Macon, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 1 weekend per month required
- No on-call duties
- Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia
- Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience
- Physical Therapist experience within the last year
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check completed within 30 days prior to start
- Education verification of related degree required (can be pending at start with proof of processing)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months of start
- Drug screening (10-panel) within 60 days of start, negative results required
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Immunizations/vaccinations required or documentation of immunity, including but not limited to:
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Varicella
- Hepatitis B (titer or signed declination)
- Tdap (highly recommended)
- Flu vaccine or signed declination (seasonal requirement)
- Annual TB questionnaire required
- Skills checklist updated within 12 months
- Verification of most recent work history required (can be pending at start with proof of processing)
- Two clinical references required
Additional Notes
- Orientation hours vary based on contract length
- Must work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period (expectation to work 1-2 holidays depending on number during contract)
- Full compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays in compliance may result in assignment start delays
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
