Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Job Description

• Provide diagnostic radiographs and CT scans to outpatients, inpatients, and ER patients.
• Work independently and proficiently with patient populations ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
• Use Cerner EMR system.
• Operate a state-of-the-art 40-slice CT scanner with dose-reducing software to minimize radiation exposure.
• Perform routine X-rays and fluoroscopic exams including barium studies, joint injections, arthrograms, and myelograms.
• Maintain close communication with board-certified radiologists for exam interpretation.
• Work in a small, close-knit community hospital with strong team dynamics.
• Facility enforces a strict attendance policy: after 3 call-offs, contract termination is possible. Call-offs must be communicated at least 1.5 hours in advance.
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted and approved at the time of application; no scheduling requests accepted after offer or during interview.
• Must have own vehicle for transportation.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current CT/X-Ray technologist experience.
• Active ARRT (R) (CT) certification.
• Vermont Radiology License (or equivalent).
• IV start experience (must be noted on profile).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Skills checklists for Computed Tomography and X-Ray current within 1 year.
• One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
• At least 6 months previous travel experience is highly preferred.
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required.

• Orientation: 8 hours (non-billable).
• Facility is a 35-bed critical access hospital with medical-surgical and inpatient rehabilitation units.
• Located near outdoor recreational areas and within driving distance to major cities.
• Dress code: Personal scrubs of any color.
• Trauma Level: Critical Access Hospital.
