RN Charge/Supervisor - Nursing Administration

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks


Position Details

  • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Charge/Supervisor
  • Department: Nursing
  • Shift: Days, 7 AM to 7 PM
  • Weekly Hours: 36 (rotating weekends)
  • On Call: No
  • Float Requirements: Yes, may work on up to 4 different units
  • Unit Beds: 77
  • Patient Ratio: 1:11
  • Patient Population: Adult

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in North Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum 2 years of float experience, including float experience within the last year
  • Psychiatric nursing experience
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience in psychiatric healthcare settings
  • Direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
  • Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or similar entities
