RN Charge/Supervisor - Nursing Administration
Location: Raleigh, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 12 weeks
Position Details
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Charge/Supervisor
- Department: Nursing
- Shift: Days, 7 AM to 7 PM
- Weekly Hours: 36 (rotating weekends)
- On Call: No
- Float Requirements: Yes, may work on up to 4 different units
- Unit Beds: 77
- Patient Ratio: 1:11
- Patient Population: Adult
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of float experience, including float experience within the last year
- Psychiatric nursing experience
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in psychiatric healthcare settings
- Direct experience with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients
- Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations or similar entities
