Description

Job Opportunity: Mammographer

Location

Salem, Massachusetts

Employment Type

Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract length: 13 weeks

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Shifts may vary weekly between 8, 10, or 12 hours, totaling 36-40 hours per week
Coverage includes Salem Hospital and various offsite locations within a 10-mile radius
Saturday shifts available (8:00 AM–12:00 PM or 7:45 AM–11:45 AM)
Flexibility and willingness to work independently required

Job Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms
Coverage at multiple locations during hours of 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
Experience with stereotactic biopsies preferred but not mandatory
Ratio of technician to machine is 1:1

Required Qualifications

Valid Mammography Technologist license in Massachusetts
Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) only (no Red Cross accepted for this location)
