CT Tech Position - Colorado, Golden

Job Summary

• Perform a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes.
• Use independent judgment and initiative to produce high-quality scans.
• Operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Administer contrast media under physician or radiologist supervision per protocol.
• Provide patient education, ensure comfort, and address patient/family concerns.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards.
• Complete studies within department time expectations without compromising quality or patient care.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate relevant information to other providers.
• Keep accurate records of procedures, patient information, and any incidents.
• Assist and instruct students and other technologists in protocols and equipment use.
• Stay current with advancements in CT technology through continuing education.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience, including experience within the last year.
• ARRT (R) certification.
• ARRT (CT) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Computed Tomography Technologist (ARRT CT).
• Fluoroscopy certification (required for Colorado hires).
• 1-2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting.
• 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting.

Work Details

• Shift: Night, 12-hour shifts.
• Hours per week: 36.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
