Description
Registered Nurse (PCU) - Travel Assignment
Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Unit: Burn ICU (12 beds)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Details
- Patient Ratios:
- ICU patients: 2:1
- Med/surg and PCU patients: 4:1
- Staffing includes Charge RN, RNs, and Patient Care Technicians (PCT)
- Equipment used: Ventilators, specialty beds, occasionally CRRT
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Scheduling: Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Floating Policy: Contract labor floats first
- Patient experience requirement: Med/surg experience preferred
- Dress Code: Navy scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
- Minimum 2 years of Burn ICU nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Med/surg nursing experience
Additional Information
- Procedures and advanced skills relevant to Burn ICU care are expected
- Opportunity to work with experienced staff and advanced technology
- Contract labor prioritized for floating assignments within the unit
