CT Technologist (Computed Tomography) - North Dakota

• City: Oakes, North Dakota

• 13 weeks

Job Description

• Operate 1 CT scanner, 1 mobile x-ray, 1 general x-ray, 1 mammography unit, and 1 C-arm.
• Perform a wide range of general imaging exams including CT, general x-ray, pain exams with C-arm.
• Send studies to radiologist for reading and complete all related paperwork.
• No clinical involvement beyond imaging duties.
• Cover both CT and general x-ray areas.
• Average of approximately 20 exams per day on weekdays.
• Start IVs as part of job duties.
• Use McKesson PACS and MediTech EMR systems.
• Equipment includes Toshiba CT scanner, Siemens mobile and general x-ray, GE C-arm.
• No radiology supervisor or lead tech on shift.
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on site.
• No in-house radiologist.

Work Schedule

• 4 days per week, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM shifts (12-hour shifts).
• Rotating on-call shifts nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Call response time: 30 minutes.
• Orientation: 4-8 shifts or until comfortable to take call independently.
• No self-scheduling or block scheduling.
• Scrubs required but not provided; no specific color required.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R).
• BLS Certification.
• NDMIRT certification.
• Must have experience in both CT and general x-ray imaging.
• Prior travel experience preferred but not required.
• Flexible on years of experience.

Additional Information

• Candidates must comply with a 50-mile radius rule.
• Candidates may not have been employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with certain affiliated facilities within the past year.
• Return to office (RTO) required upfront; no additional RTO approvals after submission.
