Job Opportunity: Step Down Nurse (Progressive Care Unit)

Location: Pocatello, Idaho

Unit Description

24-bed Progressive Care/Stepdown/Telemetry floor
Comprehensive stroke center
Level II Trauma
Chest Pain Accredited
Provides complex care including PCI and open-heart surgery patients
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3-4
Charting system: Epic
100 mile radius rule applies

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho
Minimum 1 year of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
