Description
Job Opportunity: CT Tech
Location: Huntersville, North Carolina
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour Mids (12:00 PM - 1:30 AM) on Saturday, Sunday & Monday (Weekend Mids)
Hours: Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description
- Weekend mids schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
- Competency in peripheral IV insertions is required.
- Orientation is approximately 64 hours total: 3 days corporate and 1 week facility/precepted. Full availability during orientation is mandatory; missing any portion may delay or cancel the start.
- Expected start date is subject to change based on class and trainer availability.
- The CT department performs a variety of exams including general scans, biopsies/drains, cardiac imaging, radiation treatment planning, and research scans.
- Equipment used includes Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 CT scanners.
- Unit uses EPIC electronic health record system.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CT Technologist license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT (CT) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Competency in peripheral IV insertions (IV starts)
- Experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience with EPIC and McKesson electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neonates, pediatrics, and infants.
- Experience in Level I Trauma settings.
- Experience with biopsies, myelography, and radiation therapy planning.
- Experience in community hospital settings.
Additional Information
- No prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are accepted.
- Scrubs color: Royal Blue.
- No call or float requirements.
- Background checks, drug testing, and various health and compliance documents are required prior to start.
- Fit testing (N95 or PAPR training) is required.
- Immunization and titers required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu vaccination or approved exemption.
- Physical exam within 1 year of start required; additional TB screening and documentation required.
- Multiple competency exams and certifications may be required depending on role specifics.
- Candidates must complete facility-specific orientation and compliance training modules.
- References and employment history documentation required as per agency standards.

- RTO (Return to Office) after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
- Missing any portion of orientation may result in delayed or canceled start.
- Interview with hiring manager is required prior to offer.
- Candidates must be fully available during orientation week with no other commitments.
- Background checks include local, federal, and national databases, education verification, and state-specific registry searches.
- Radiation badge required for CT Techs.
- Candidates must comply with all facility policies, confidentiality agreements, and dress code requirements.
This position offers a focused weekend mid-shift schedule with no call or float requirements, ideal for CT Technologists with at least 2 years of experience seeking a travel contract in North Carolina.
