Job Opportunity: Technologist - Computed Tomography (CT)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Description

• Position patients on examining table and adjust immobilization devices to obtain optimum views as requested by Physician.
• Complete all routine diagnostic procedures.
• Operate radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, including mobile units in operating room, emergency room, or at patient bedside.
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Operate film processing equipment.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Prioritize and organize daily workflow efficiently.
• Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Utilize basic computer skills.

Dress Code:

• Hospital blue scrubs (provided), business casual with lab coat, or plain personal scrubs.
• No hooded sweatshirts.
• Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or clogs).
• Hair pulled back if longer than shoulder length.
• No dangling earrings.

Time Off Requests:

• Must be submitted and verified at time of profile upload.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Requests after submission or during interview will not be approved and may lead to offer rescindment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting.
• Proficient and highly experienced with Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, and OR C-arm.
• Experience working with all age groups.
• Active New Hampshire Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy License (or equivalent state license for CT).
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience preferred but not required.

Additional Information

• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.
• All scheduling requests and time off must be included at time of submission to avoid delays or offer rescindment.
• The facility is located in a region known for outdoor recreational activities including hiking and scenic tours.
