CT Technologist Position - Colorado, Pueblo

Job Details

• Specialty: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)
• Location: Pueblo, Colorado
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 12 hours per day, 36 hours per week
• Department: Radiology - CT
• Scanners/Rooms: 2
• Typical Daily Volume: 30-40 scans/studies per day
• Imaging Types: Routine CT Imaging including Head, Chest, Abdomen/Pelvis, CTA Head, CTA Chest, Calcium Score, etc.
• Equipment Used: GE scanners; Synapse PACS and EPIC Radiant for imaging software
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided when in-house; hours 6 AM to 6 PM including weekends, holidays, and call as needed
• Weekend and Holiday Work: Required
• Call or Standby: Not required
• Dress Code: Black scrubs (not provided)

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA certified
  • Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R)
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of CT experience
• Additional Requirements: Must be able to start IVs
• Travel Requirements: Must be in-state for the week of orientation (even if some modules are remote)
• Other: A valid driver’s license must be submitted; agency must provide traveler radiation badge (not provided by facility)

Work Environment

• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• Radiologist available in-house
• No use of Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA)
• Radius for travel: 60 miles
