CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Atlantis, Florida
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Unit Information

• Unit Type: CT Tech unit within a 24-bed acute care medical/surgical facility
• Staff Composition: 14 staff including Radiologists, Radiologist Techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, and CT Techs
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs
  • Night Shift: Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs (varies by volume)
• Patient Ratios: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on patient stability
• Equipment: All GE equipment including MRI units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Meditech
• Call Requirements: 4-6 shifts per month on off days

Typical Procedures

• CT Scans
• MRI
• Body Scanning
• X-Rays
• Creating detailed images of bones, organs, and tissues for accurate assessment

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Florida
• ARRT Certification in CT
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist, including experience within the last year
• BLS Certification
