Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
Location: Winchester, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced RN for a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) role covering Pre-Op, Post-Op, and PACU care. This position requires working varied day shifts with no weekend or on-call requirements.
Work Schedule
- Shift Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (varied day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours each)
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
- Weekend Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: None
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia
- Minimum 2 years of PACU (Post Anesthesia Care) experience, including experience within the last year
- Pre-Op experience
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience with Epic electronic medical records system
Unit Information
- Patient Ratios: 2:1
- Patient Population: All ages with various co-morbidities
- Float Requirements: None
Additional Details
- Scrub color will be provided; attire must comply with facility dress code policy
- Start Date: June 1st (no earlier start date accepted)
