Description

Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Location: Lander, Wyoming
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36


Job Description

  • Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
  • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
  • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
  • Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
  • May be required to float between two campuses depending on census.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Wyoming
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Current certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Additional Notes

  • Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
