Description
Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry
Location: Des Moines, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW), Every Other Holiday (EOH)
Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse with specialty in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry to provide direct patient care on a night shift basis.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience within the last year
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in Neurology
Professional Requirements
- Completion and submission of various professional forms and background checks including:
- Criminal background check (federal, nationwide, county for last 7 years).
- Education verification (highest level of academic education).
- Exclusion screenings (OIG, EPLS, NSO).
- Conflict of interest disclosure.
- Code of conduct agreement.
- Confidentiality and information security agreement.
- Integrity and audit services form.
- System access form (to be completed one week before start).
- Child and adult dependent abuse training (Iowa only).
- State-specific registry checks (Iowa sing report).
- OFAC sanctions screening within 30 days of start.
- Submission of a current resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references.
Additional Information
- License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of start.
- All required documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
- Specialty skills checklist will be provided by the agency for clinical contractors.

- Prior travel experience is not specified as required.
- This position involves working every other week and every other holiday on a night shift schedule.
- Tele refers to Telemetry nursing specialty only.
