Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist

Location: Hoffman Estates, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Evening (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

Job Description

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures on the 1st Floor, Diagnostic Imaging department.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Radiology Technologist license in Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience as an X-Ray Technician
• Operating Room (OR) experience
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Onboarding Requirements

• Completion of facility-specific core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, OSHA topics with a minimum passing score of 80%.
• Signed assignment agreement and confirmation of assignment documentation.
• Submission of a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no alterations).
• Completion of biometric consent and non-nursing contingent worker pre-hire modules/attestation.
• Completion of Medical Imaging Contract Worker Onboarding Education Attestation (6 hours pre-hire training).
• Ascension Skills Checklist for clinical competency, updated annually.
• Confirmation of assignment and employment verification documents updated as required.

Additional Notes

• Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended during flu season (October 1 – March 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
• Prior travel experience is not specified as a requirement for this position.
