Description
Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Psych - Behavioral Health
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Schedule:
- 2 shifts of 8 hours (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM)
- 2 shifts of 12 hours (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM)
- Total 40 hours per week
- Holidays and every other weekend required
- Weekend off requests require coverage or prior approval
- Blocked scheduling must be pre-approved
- May be trained for charge nurse responsibilities
- Possible floating to a similar inpatient addiction rehab unit
- Uniform: Navy blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Minimum 3 years of Behavioral Health nursing experience, including experience within the last year
- Completion of Centralus Naloxone Train the Trainer Course
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Notes
- Must complete detailed address history for last 28 years with no gaps for certain state-required forms
- Must complete various onboarding documents and training quizzes found in the document library
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position
