CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee
Department: CT

Job Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36
Work Schedule: Various shifts, 24/7/365 coverage
Unit Staffing: CT technologist staff available around the clock
Equipment Used: GE CT scanners
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements: Variable
Floating Policy: Not applicable
Dress Code: Scrubs (any color, professional and non-distractive)

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 126
Procedures Performed: All general CT procedures, including Stroke protocols
Advanced Skills Preferred: Experience with basic CT-guided interventional radiology (IR) procedures preferred but not required
Patient Experience Requirement: Minimum 1 year of independent experience
Staff Support: Experienced staff and leadership always available

Required Qualifications

ARRT Certification in Radiology required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Radiology Technologist experience required
Familiarity with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards

The department is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and the American College of Radiology (ACR)
