Description
Cardiac Cath Lab Tech - Travel Position
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Unit Information
- Unit: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Beds: 8 Holding Bays and 4 Cath/EP suites
- Staff: 16 total
- Shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM
- Night Shift: rotating on-call
- Patient Ratio: 3 staff to 1 patient in procedural area
- Equipment: Philips Fluoro Systems, Mac Lab, CardioLab for EP
- EMR System: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Left Heart Catheterization (LHC)
- Right Heart Catheterization (RHC)
- Electrophysiology (EP) Ablations
- Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) management
- Cardioversions
- Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
- Tilt Table Tests
Required Qualifications
- Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- Cath Lab Tech Certification
- USP 800 Hazardous Drug Risk knowledge
- Proficient scrub skills and experience
- Ability to take on-call responsibilities and be housed within 30 minutes of the Cath Lab
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with EP, Structural Heart procedures, and Right Heart monitoring
- Positive attitude and strong engagement in high-quality patient care
