Travel RN - Operating Room

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with call; exact shift times and days may vary based on patient volume
Hours per Week: 36


Job Summary

The Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering patient care in the OR. As part of the surgical team, the RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff to provide care according to regulatory standards, physician orders, and hospital policies. Responsibilities include ensuring supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.

The position requires flexibility to float between campuses as needed.


Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
  • Experience in ENT Surgery and Urology

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Must be able to work day shifts with on-call responsibilities
  • Floating between campuses may be required
