Operating Room Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Hobbs, New Mexico
Job Details
- Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Hobbs, New Mexico
- Employment Type: Travel/Contract
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Float: No floating between units
- On-Call: Yes, 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month
- Weekend Requirement: No
- Block Schedules: No
- Specialty Areas Covered: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Podiatry, C-section, Endoscopy
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Beds: 61
- Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
- Scrub Color: Navy for all RNs
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Orthopedics
- Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
- Experience in Endoscopy
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
