Operating Room Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job - Hobbs, New Mexico

Job Details

Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Hobbs, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week)
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Float: No floating between units
On-Call: Yes, 1-2 days per week and 1-2 weekends per month
Weekend Requirement: No
Block Schedules: No
Specialty Areas Covered: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, Podiatry, C-section, Endoscopy
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in Orthopedics
Experience in Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN)
Experience in Endoscopy
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation
