CT/Rad Tech - Weekend Night Shift
Location: Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Weekend Nights (Friday - Sunday, 7:30 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.)
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Position Summary
Seeking an experienced CT/Rad Tech for a weekend night shift assignment in a rural Critical Access Hospital imaging department. The role involves performing diagnostic radiographic and computed tomography procedures independently during night shifts, ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and imaging accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT and diagnostic radiology procedures per physician orders and imaging protocols
- Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper patient positioning, radiation safety, and image quality
- Administer contrast media and monitor patients for reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
- Use Cerner EHR/PACS systems for order review, documentation, and image workflow
- Collaborate with providers, nursing staff, and other departments to support patient care
- May be required to float within imaging scope
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- Radiology Technologist experience
- ARRT (R) certification
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- Experience with Cerner EHR systems
Additional Information
- On-call is not required
- Holidays may be required if they fall within scheduled shifts
- Must maintain strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working independently during nights
