Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray

Location

• New Lenox, Illinois

Shift and Hours

• Afternoons
• 8 hours per day

Job Description

• Perform a variety of routine and specialized X-Ray procedures
• Utilize appropriate scanning protocols to demonstrate necessary anatomy
• Adjust technical factors according to age-specific needs (neonate through geriatric)
• Administer oral and/or IV contrast
• Assist physicians during procedures as needed
• Complete documentation according to guidelines
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and work areas for readiness
• Adhere to Radiation Safety and ALARA standards
• Follow hospital policies and professional standards
• Demonstrate courteous and respectful communication with all customers

Patient Population

• Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience
• Certified X-Ray Technologist (ARRT certification required and must be active at time of submission)
• Illinois IEMA license (does not need to be active at time of submission or willing to obtain)
• Experience with GE equipment
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (declinations will not be approved)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Cerner and Change Healthcare PACS
• Surgery experience
